Joy Home Future Plans

Expansion into the City – In the short term we plan to firstly rent and one day purchase an additional home in the city of Hyderabad. This would provide additional places for orphan children in the city and would be an addition to our current home which is very remote. As part of our long term planning the orphanage will move to Hyberdad where the children will enjoy greater access to schooling, medical support and vastly improved living conditions.

Rehabilitation Centre for children effected by HIV & Aids
HIV-Aids Out Reach Support Programme Website As a long term project we would utilise our currently building Joy Home as a HIV & Aids Centre for affected children.

In India, the National AIDS Control Organisation (2007) estimates 70,000 children under the age of 15 live with HIV/AIDS and a rapidly increasing number of children are orphaned or affected by AIDS. Joy Home for Children has introduced an HIV / Aids Out Reach Support Programme. For further information, visit:- www.charityforchildren.co.uk

Vehicle – To purchase a vehicle to transport the children to school as well as using the vehicle as a mobile medical unit to allow medical camps to be offered to the remote villages.

Medical Centre – On the grounds of Joy Home an area of land has been set aside for the construction and establishment of a Health Clinic /Health Training Centre for the
joy home for children, Hyderabad India children as well as the local villagers.

Play Ground – The construction of a play ground and field for sporting activities.

The Gardens – Many fruits and vegetables have been planted. We plan to operate a mini dairy and poultry farm, which would provide the children with fresh milk and eggs as well as manure to fertilise the fields. This would also generate some income.
